These Daiso AN tapes may seem like a novelty, but they did the job very well! I ordered several, and used them across various genres, and they did very well. I would particularly like to note that I recorded country music using these, and they were very good at reproducing the guitar pitch and string sections without any warble or tinny noise.
They didn’t disappoint with percussion either. I found they also responded well to piano. Definitely worth checking out!
