AXIA J'Z 2 (1996 JP) Cassette Tape
AXIA J'Z 2 Cassette Description
Axia's "entry level" type II of the 90's is yet another obscure tape that shoots way over its price point.
Compared to the Maxell XLII, or the TDK SA, we prefer the Axia for rock and pop recordings. We find it more neutral and a little less fatiguing than the former.
That said, they are similar in many ways, but the Axia is far more rare and collectible.
Just look at those crazy graphics! :-)

Improvements over Previous Generation
The AXIA J'Z 2 is part of the type IV metal cassette tape category, which was introduced during a time when there was only one Fuji-branded metal tape available for the global market. The J'Z Metal may be the Japanese market version of the Fuji Z Metal, although this is not definitively confirmed.
