The AU series is  Axia's premium line, and this tape is the top of the line of this series.  It is double coated and uses Axia's proprietary AER mechanism for the highest stability.

This tape will stand up (and beat...) the familiar high end type II tapes, including the  Maxell XLII-S, the TDK SA-X, and even the  Sony UX-S.  It is that good!
