Axia tapes were manufactured by Fuji, a brand that decided in the early '80s to sell tapes in Japan, focusing on a younger audience, hence the new brand name and design language.
The Axia A-1 is an entry level, though high-quality Type I Normal Bias tape for everyday recording, including music and voice.
The A-1 model came in various lengths, including 90, 30, and even 10 minutes for shorter recordings, of which we have a few!
The Axia A-1 cassettes are known for their reliability and sound quality that appeals to more discerning users as well despite their affordable price point.
They come in a slim case design, which was a unique and popular feature, making them easy to store and handle. The A-1 series reflects Axia's commitment to combining practical design with high-quality audio performance.
