These TDK AE tapes were very sublime Type I tapes, with a decent range. I’ve had prior negative experiences with 120 minute tapes, but the build quality on these were solid, they didn’t overwhelm my deck with their capacity, and they responded well to genres that are prone to oversaturating tapes (such as hip-hop, or distortion-heavy rock and metal).
I’d recommend these highly for extended mixes! They can take it!
