Parasound Halo C2 Controller Preamplifier - Original MSRP $4000!

This unit has been professionally serviced in November 2025 and received a brand new VFD display (known to fade and lose pixels on older units), and new power supply capacitors. It has been tested and is in excellent cosmetic and fully functional condition.

It comes with the original Parasound calibration microphone and long cable, and a brand new aftermarket remote control specifically programmed for this model.

It is a fully balanced design that supports 7.1 surround, upgradeable firmware, and sounds amazing as a stereo preamplifier!

I've used it as a stereo-only preamplifier in a high end system, and it will shine as a hybrid home theater / stereo scenarios. Designed in the USA, and made in finland. They don't make them like this anymore...

Free shipping in the continental US.

Reviews:

"Overall, this is a class leading pair, and I do not say this lightly. The C 2 package with its sonic performance, automatic calibration, complete feature set, excellent remote, programmability, beautiful aesthetics, and hardware/software upgradeability is quite possibly the most complete processor package in the $4,000 arena (one that is extremely competitive at this time), and rightly takes its place at the head of the pack. " - HT Review

"For several months I lavished in the sounds of my favorite CD's. I listed just a few of my audition CD's which I felt were perfect for testing performance in two channel digital and also DSP modes. Since Reference System 2 included bass cable speakers ( Canton Karat Reference 2 DC ), I conducted most of my stereo CD auditions without the subwoofer in the comfort of my listening chair. In stereo mode the Halos were able to present tremendous detail and imaging without sounding mechanical. I listened for hours on end to Marillion, Steely Dan, Cowboy Junkies, Mark Johnson and a host of other CDs. In all cases, I was quite impressed with the way the Halos performed and processed the digital material presented to them." - Audioholics
