Very little is known about Audio Magnetics. We do know that they were a Swiss company, that they briefly manufactured pretty decent tapes, both 8-track, reel, and cassettes in the late 1970's and early 1980's. Swiss made is a synonym for high quality.

As with all 8-track tapes, we highly recommend replacing the original pressure pads with new ones that are readily available, and can be easily DIY using adhesive weather seal strips.
